Levy Associates forms long term partnership with Grove House

St.Albans and Amsterdam based Human Resource consultancy, Levy Associates Ltd who source high calibre professionals for blue chip companies within the IT and Pharmaceutical industries and who made the prestigious Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list at the end of 2005 (a list of the fastest growing companies for 2006 within the UK) is delighted to announce their partnership with Grove House for the future, starting with a donation of £10,000 to the hospice made on the 20th March 2006, which sees the beginning of their long term support.

Lawrence Levy, M.D and founder of Levy Associates who himself has lived in St Albans for over 30 years and has based his headquarters in the area, feels that it is vital for local companies to offer support to such an important organisation, helping cancer suffers within the local community.

Due to the consistent growth of his company over the last five years, it has now enabled Lawrence to give something back to his local area as much of the company's success has been recruiting for the Pharmaceutical industry, finding suitable candidates for Clinical Research, especially in the area of Oncology, for which there has been great demand. This has given Lawrence and his team an insight into the vast and necessary research being carried out for cancer treatments.

Levy Associates is also looking forward to a new joint venture together with Grove House, which see's them becoming the main sponsor of a 10K run, to be called 'The Levy Associates Grove House 10k', with the first event due to take place in 8th October, which both Grove House and Levy Associates see as becoming an annual event for the Hertfordshire area, which they hope will raise much needed funds for Grove House year on year. They hope to attract many keen runners of all ages and fitness levels for an achievable distance that people can enjoy and feel proud to be involved in.

Lawrence Comments: "After spending a number of years growing my business, I feel fortunate to be in a position to support Grove House as cancer can effect anyone and without on-going support from such hospices and their staff like that of Grove House, patients wouldn't receive the after care that is so vital for their recovery. Both myself and my team look forward to a successful partnership with them, now and in the future."

Mark Lister, Chief Executive of Grove House comments: "Often, a smaller charity like ours might get overlooked by the business community. I think it's brilliant that Levy Associates has chosen to support Grove House, and their donation will help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by a life-threatening illness. This donation of £10,000 will pay for six months of nursing care for the patients in our day hospice. And the ongoing support of Levy Associates will make a huge difference to the lives of local people living with a life-threatening illness."
